Her birthday is coming up and I have no idea what to get her.

You can get her something she may use frequently.
Does she like jewelry? You can get her what she wears the most…for instance bracelets or necklaces or earrings.
Maybe she collects something..you can get her something that she collects.
Or you can get her a shirt, jacket, pants, etc. I got a shirt with a nice jacket to match it for my friend’s birthday.
If she likes wearing body sprays/perfumes you can buy her a couple of bottles of nice-smelling ones. (I did that for my friend too, she likes spraying herself a lot, haha)
Or maybe you can get her a nice-smelling lotion. Those are always nice to use and if they smell good, its a bonus.
Or maybe she likes wearing purses. Having many different colors of purses to match outfits is always nice.
You can even give her a matching wallet or a nice wallet itself.
Or you can get her some make-up, what she wears or maybe may need in the future.
Does she like an actor or actress? Print a a one-page picture of the celebrity. I also did that for my friend (i printed two hot pictures of Taylor Lautner because she loves looking at him)
Or maybe make something for her. For instance, i made a secret hollow book for my friend, where she can store whatever small things she wants inside a book and keep it in a shelf where no one can tell it is hollow. I learned how to make one online but it takes a while and can be messy.
Maybe, if you both have been together for a while, or have taken pictures of things, etc. you can make her a memory box. Have a nice box and fill things inside that would be special to both you and her. Could be anything.
Or you can make a scrapbook, if you have enough pictures, for her.
Otherwise, maybe, if she is having a party, you can bake her a cake or a big cookie or something. Maybe make or get her her favorite junk food or food in general.

Making something, putting effort in something, will show your friend that you really did care to give her something with effort.

You can buy her, for instance, something she may need. Or something she may have hinted she wanted. If it is too expensive, you can talk with maybe another friend of hers/yours and both pay for whatever she may want.
Or you can make her a gift or give her a secret birthday party (If she is not having one)

But if you really can’t think of what to do, you can try looking it up online too. (Though i hope i helped) =]

ok a friend of mine is a former nba player and ive known him for a good 3 years from highschool. his birthday is next month but i dont know of any good gifts that are meaningful yet at a good price?…. I mean come on now what do u get a millionaire, a gift froma middleclass person ……. links any one?

My 12 year old is turning 13 on Wednesday so here are her interest
MAC cosmetics, Soccer, Fashion, Coach,Guess, CLOTHES, Interior design , Black white and blue things .

You can get her a visa gift card so she can go anywhere.
Shoes from payless
Get her a soccer ball that has black white and blue in it.
iTunes gift card
Take her shopping so she can pick
Get her some make up just your basic eyeshadow or mascara
Get her a book where you can design and make paper outfits
Fake Uggs [or real if she perfers them]
Take her to Ulta they have make up and stuff their
Perfume or body sprays lotions
Lip gloss sounds like her kinda thing
A coach purse or get a fake it looks just like it but not so expensive!
Cell phone cover.

Im not into this stuff so sorry if its a little off and dont go to over the top with stuff. Save some of these ideas for Christmas to (: and next year or something.

Do any of you have christmas-time babies? How do you break up the birthday and christmas presents and celebration?

Wrap birthday present in birthday wrapping and Christmas in Christmas wrapping. I am sure this is foreign to you but it should be a distinction later in the child’s life. At present the only distinction is made between yourself.

I met her when school started and I don’t know her that well so I don’t know what to get her. And her party is tonight. Do you know of any interesting gifts that aren’t too common?

You could buy her a pendent for a necklace, some perfume, a nice pair of sunglasses, it really depends on what her interests are..think of what she likes to do, talk about etc..and base the gift around that.

It depends on what are your friend’s interests!
If she likes fashion, you could give her some clothes.
If she likes films, you could give her films!

The last gift I gave to my friend for her birthday was a photo frame with a photo of me and her in it.

The photo frame I bought was very cheap, from Card Factory. Totally bargain! I mean, really bargain, like £3. It’s in friendship style.

My teachers birthday is in February and i want to get him something nice, to show him my appreciation for all that he has done for me.

Something he uses; from now till January, notice his things or his hobbies. A wallet can always be appreciated, as men are prone to warp their wallets in their back pockets till they get ratty. If he uses a tie, you can also do that, or a belt, if you can estimate his waist size. Anything that has to do with his hobbies is also a good gift. A personalized mug is cute, can be meaningful, and cost is manageable.

You can also get picture frames. If your class will pitch in, a digital frame is a nice idea; if you have a compilation of pix of him with the class and other faculty, you can load it in; in fact if you can be in cahoots with his family, you can load those too.
