What are good Christmas gifts you can make for teenagers (16-17)?
I think I'm gonna make all my friends their gifts this year.. I've done 'personalized' notebooks for them before, and goody bags… but do you have any ideas for something a more.. mm.. extravagant lol? For girls, mostly, but I have some guy friends too so if you have any suggestions that'd be great!! Thanks! ^.^
You could make bag or phone dangles from beads or charms. Otherwise covers for ipods or phones. Beaded or shell jewellery would be good too.

Scrape books are great and they can each be different or the same.Girls really love them and I think it would be ok for a guy. You could also make a memory dvd you know with pics and songs on it that may be better for the guys. Something I do for my friends at work ( most of them are older, in their 20's early 30's ) is to make treats , candy cookies brownies and wrap them in pretty packages with ribbon you can use colored cellophane wrap or containers or I really like the Chinese take out containers you can get them at a party supply store.

Get a pattern for a messenger bag and make those up..they will love them…you can find one at the pattern store..they are easy to make if you have any sewing skills at all.. You can make them for a few bucks but if you buy them they are expensive….or make a cover for their cell phone or Ipod….
Make scarfs for them, either knitted or crochet and if you don't do either,,you can sew them a wool one..the girls might like the type of headbands, Paris or Nicole wear..they are easy to make…
I wish I knew what skills you had, would make it easier…If you can paint,,,a nice box, painted with pretty flowers on top and geometric patterns for the boys , would be nice…you can buy small unpainted wooden boxes at craft stores….and put something in them….jewelry for the girls…small bottle of Cologne for the boys.
Don't forget food…who doesn't enjoy home cooked, food..You can buy the cutest tins at the dollar store and fill them with homemade fudge or cookies….of even candy…
Small throws for their bed would be nice too. Get a heavy wool material and just cut out about a 4 by 5 piece for each one…get fabric glue and glue bias binding around them or sew it on, if you sew….
